2. Personal Details: Include Only When Appropriate

    Expected attachment: August 2025

Do not exaggerate your qualifications. Employers verify these details.

4. Attachment Letter from Your School is Mandatory

If you are applying for internship or industrial attachment, you must include an official letter from your institution. This letter confirms your enrollment and specifies the period you are expected to be on attachment.

Employers consider this a formal requirement, especially in corporate or public sector environments. Without it, your application may be overlooked.



5. Cover Letter: The Most Underused Advantage

Too many students ignore the power of a well-written cover letter. A strong letter briefly introduces who you are, your academic path, what you seek, and why you are applying to that specific company or field.

Think of your cover letter as the handshake before your CV. It communicates initiative, clarity, and professionalism.

6. Include Experience. Even if It Was Voluntary or Informal

Employers understand that students may not have formal work experience. However, if you have volunteered, participated in school projects, student leadership, part-time work, or assisted in a family business, include it.

Focus on what you did and what you learned. This shows responsibility, initiative, and soft skills that matter in the workplace.

7. Skills and Interests: Keep it Relevant

Include practical skills such as:
